License Office in Castle Rock to better serve all Douglas
County citizens
- Successfully managed the 2008 Presidential
Election (the largest in Douglas County history) where voters
experienced no more than a few minutes wait at any location
- Selected by peers a National Director
for the National Association of Clerks, Election Directors
and Recorders
- Elected by his peers, three years in
a row as Co-chair of the Colorado County Clerks Association’s
Legislative Committee
- Has maintained a “no wait longer
than 20 minutes” policy at all three Motor Vehicle
offices
- Has never exceeded his budget, usually
giving money back to the county
- Has reduced staff every year for the
past three years
